Every day, people right here in our region are faced with
potential life-altering decisions. The indigent, uninsured,
and underinsured of our communities often must decide if
healthcare takes a back seat to their more urgent needs
of food, clothing, and shelter. There has been nowhere to
turn for help - until now.
The Albemarle Hospital Foundation has taken the first step
by creating Community Care Clinics - where we provide free
care, and prescription assistance, to thousands of needy
men, women, and children. But, we need your help to expand
our reach of care to those who need it most, and are often
the least likely to seek help because of the high costs
associated with medicine today.
The Community Care Clinics, as with all Albemarle Hospital
Foundation programs, is independently funded, through federal
and state grants and private donations. Won't you help us
help our community? All of your donations are funneled back
into healthcare for the indigent, uninsured, and underinsured
of northeastern North Carolina - the money you so generously
give doesn't pay for things like hospital building, expansion,
or equipment.
Please help the Albemarle Hospital Foundation extend care
to those who need it most. There are several ways to give,
all helping to fulfill our single purpose - helping others.
