As a Family Practice, Johnny Farrow, M.D., Denise Griggs, FNP-C, Nurse Practitioner, and our staff of healthcare professionals provide comprehensive primary medical care for all family members regardless of age, sex, or the nature of their illness. Family physicians take care of the physical, mental, and emotional health of our patients, and are trained to care for you and your family through all the stages of your life.

As a Family Practice physician, Dr. Farrow knows the most current treatments and technologies, equipping him to apply the latest medical breakthroughs to the everyday care of our patients.

Dr. Farrow and Ms. Griggs know when to treat you, and when to bring in another specialist you can trust. Island Medical Center offers more than a medical diagnosis – we provide personalized care.

Born and raised in Northeastern North Carolina, Johnny Farrow, M.D., received his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. His residency in Emergency Medicine was completed at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Dr. Farrow lives in Manteo with his wife and two daughters.

Located in Manteo, North Carolina at 715 North Main Highway, our regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. New patients are always welcome!
