Albemarle Health's Regional Medical Center, located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is a state of the art facility with elite medical professionals, providing the highest quality of medical care. Regional Medical Center's services include Urgent Care and Family Medicine (provided by Beach Medical Care, Ltd.), Same Day Surgery, and Radiology which features MRI, Mammography, and CT.

Regional Medical Center not only cares for the community, but also provides a number of free programs designed to keep our residents well. Physicians and healthcare professionals bring workshops and wellness information to the public with their Lunch and Learn Series. In conjunction with the Dare County Department of Public Health, the Stepping Stones Diabetes Support Program brings the latest information from the area's leading healthcare experts to the community at no charge. Monthly meetings are held at Regional and led by DCDPH's Michelle Hoppman, RD. Thousands of Outer Banks residents participated in our Well Screens last year. The Well Screens program offers free cholesterol screening, blood sugar testing, blood pressure checks, and nutrition and exercise counseling. Our annual Regional Medical Center Community Health Fair offers dozens of free health screenings.
