Ms. Overton honored by Board

PhotoWillie Mae Overton has been a dedicated Albemarle Hospital employee for 46 years. The Albemarle Hospital Authority Board of Commissioners designated May 18 as Willie Mae Overton Day, in honor of her contributions to Albemarle Hospital's surgical services team, the Albemarle Hospital Foundation's Community Care Clinics, and the communities it serves. While Ms. Overton has been with Albemarle Hospital for more than four decades, and is recognized as a valuable resource to everyone at Albemarle Health, she was also named a "Black Pearl" by the National Council of Negro Women in October of last year.
