SHERRIE L. “SUE” WEIMAR BEGINS APPOINTMENT TO
ALBEMARLE HOSPITAL
AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
The Albemarle Hospital Authority Board of Commissioners has accepted the nomination of Sherrie L. “Sue” Weimar to serve as the Perquimans County representative to its 15-member board. Weimar currently serves on the Perquimans County Board of Commissioners.
Ms. Weimar serves on the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners Human Resources Steering Committee, the Perquimans County Planning Board, the Perquimans County Department of Social Services Board, the Perquimans County Chamber of Commerce Board, the SPCA/Perquimans County Board, and the Blueways/Greenways committee. She is currently the assistant manager of the Beechtree Inn and Restaurant in Hertford.
“Albemarle Health is honored to have Sue represent the residents of Perquimans County on the Albemarle Hospital Authority Board of Commissioners,” said Sharon M. Tanner, President and CEO of Albemarle Health. “Her dedication to the people of her home county is obvious by her record of public service, and we’re certain she’ll bring the values of those she represents to her work as a healthcare advocate for Perquimans County.”
Weimar, along with James F. “Jim” Perry, Jeff L. Dixon, Sonja W. Hibbard, and Cecil Perry began a three-year term on the Albemarle Hospital Authority Board of Commissioners in January. Each board member serves one three-year term, and may serve a second term if selected for reappointment.
