Through a partnership with the College of the Albemarle's Division of Corporate and Continuing Education, this department coordinates various EMS training courses and serves as the College's primary point of contact for these courses in this area.

Albemarle Hospital employs a coordinator and administrative assistant in the EMS Education Department. In conjunction with the local EMS Medical Director, initial and continuing education courses are provided for several local counties and agencies. Current course offerings are listed in the EMS Calendars. This calendar will be updated continuously. As a strong supporter of continuing education and work force development, College of the Albemarle seeks to improve and expand course offerings. The Albemarle Hospital EMS Education office is located adjacent to Albemarle Hospital, 1144 North Road Street in Elizabeth City, in Suite 3 of the Medical Complex at the end of Medical Drive.
