Our Occupational Therapy department can help you regain motion or mobility, independence, or return to your job. We understand the frustration that can accompany an injury or illness, and we can also help you overcome these mental roadblocks. We also have special assistance available for those with developmental disabilities, or emotional or social deficits.

Occupational Therapy Services Include:

• Assessing home or work site to identify ways of improving personal independence, mobility, and productivity.
• Creating splints and braces, and monitoring their use.
• Hand/Eye Coordination Training.
• Identifying the need for, and providing instruction in, the use of adaptive equipment.
• Parental and family education during the rehabilitation period.
• Promoting self-reliance.
• Restoring sensory, perceptual, and motor functions.
