Some of the problems that might cause difficulty with speech or swallowing include head injury; ear, nose and throat disorders; stroke; Parkinson's Disease; Muscular Dystrophy, and other nerve-related diseases.

Due to injury, for some the act of swallowing is a major feat. Through Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies, our Speech-Language Pathologists can quickly assess and recommend a proper course of action.
