Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)

Ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery is the division of medicine that treats conditions of the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck.  Procedures performed at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center and Sentara Kitty Hawk Ambulatory Surgery Center include removal of tonsils and adenoids, sinus surgery including balloon sinuplasty, insertion of ear tubes to combat recurrent ear infections, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) to stop sleep apnea, and repair to ruptured ear drums.
